Jennifer Love Hewitt in white Monique Lhuillier: simple & pretty, or too bridal?
These are photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt at this weekend’s Angel Awards in LA. The awards are for supporters of Project Angel Food. The dress is Monique Lhuillier Resort 2009 - which is interesting that J.Love isn’t wearing a new dress from some new collection. She probably recycled this look from a previous red carpet, or maybe she never got around to wearing it in 2009. In any case, I actually like the dress. She looks pretty in white, and I like the simplicity of the cut, and I even like the gold detailing, which isn’t overdone.
So what do I dislike? Her hair. Granted, I was never going to like bangs on J.Love, and yes, this version of bangs is less offensive than the other, flat-ironed style she was working last week. But this wavy, mom-bangs style looks dated, and it ages her. She has a young-looking face - why is she trying to look ten years older?
In case you were still wondering, J.Love is still single. She told Ryan Seacrest last week, “I have nothing to say except I’m totally single.†This is what happens when she’s single - she goes out to any red carpet that will have her, and she calls the paps for “candid†photo shoots every damn day. I’m not saying that J.Love or ANY woman needs a boyfriend just to have a boyfriend. I am saying that if you want to avoid the daily photos of J.Love, she needs a man.
PS… Yes, J. Love is hugging on Pauley Perrette from NCIS. I adore Pauley.

So glad you did a post on this. Despite what seems like constant protests against and dislike for her, I really like JLH. She looks really nice and in my opinion if this was longer it could totally be rocked as a traditional-type wedding gown. For some reason though, I’ve thought the haircut aged her. She looks like she’s a married mother of at least 2. But she looks happy and if that’s real, I’m happy for her.
I saw her in this dress in a Daily Mail article and wondered if perhaps she was going to the Kardashian-Humphries affair. I was curious as to how Will and Jada and Victoria and Becks could have possibly been attending but there was no mention of JLH or Jessica Simpson-you’d think the single ladies in the same boat would want to support each other and rejoice over each other’s supposed success.
Anyway, now I know why she was all dolled up. So THAT’s why none of the major celebrities showed up, they were here at this event!

JLove looks good. Those must be her favorite pair of shoes, because every red carpet appearance she’s wearing them.

I actually think she looks beautiful and the whole outfit works- the jewlery, shoes, purse, dress, all of it. And yeah- the hair is much less bad with waves. AND I like her nails. Good show, J.Love.

I never think she’s all that in photos. But in an interview on The Talk she was adorable and so cute, so I changed my mind about her. And on that tv movie recently on Lifetime where she played a broke wife turned hooker/massage therapist she was really very, very pretty and a really good little actress.

Oh thank goodness JLH is back and looking gorgeous…had a little scare a while back on her fashion choices, but excellent recovery…she looks absolutely fantastic here
