Indian Idol 5 2010: Top 16 Finalists Singers & Contestants Names & Photos
Weeks into the auditions round and Mumbai selection the top 16 contestants of Indian Idol 5 are finally out. Asit and Arvind had to fight hard in the ultimate face off to secure their position in Indian Idol 5 Top 16 Contestants. The fifth season of Indian Idol or IndianIdol5 premiered on April 26, 2010, on Sony Entertainment Television (India). Anu Malik returned as the judge, Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan were the two new judges this season. The IndianIdol Five saw numerous changes to the format of the show. Deepika Padukone and Jia Khan were on sets of Indian Idol 2010 Season 5 2010 May 2010 promoting their last week released movie Houseful. This year for the first time, participants will have mentors from the music world teaching them nuances of singing. More then 1lac people participated in 11 city auditions, Indian Idol 5 is going to be the biggest search ever to give India its Best Singer.
