Grace Miguel: In Charge of Usher's Career
Tameka Foster is out, and Grace Miguel is in... charge of Usher, sources tell The New York Post.
Miguel, 43, is a former Def Jam executive who started dating the hip hop star a few months after he split from Foster. An insider says she's calling all the shots in Usher's career these days, convincing him to fire agent Mark Cheatham, for example. Stylists, choreographers and tour managers may be next.
"Usher will do whatever she wants him do right now," a source told the newspaper of Miguel, while someone close to Cheatham adds: "Mark is really upset. He's been with him from the beginning. He thinks Usher will come back."
He may be waiting awhile. Usher has mixed business with pleasure in the past, firing his mom as his manager after marrying Foster.
It sounds like Usher may need to spend as much time behind the scenes of his career as he spends sculpting his ads. His amazing, rock-hard, incredible abs...
