Movie Releases: The Joneses, Kick-Ass, Death at a Funeral
We have a number of films to choose from this week with a lot of solid potential. The stand-out film of this week is Kick-Ass, it’s almost impossible to find something bad to say about it. If comedy is more your thing then you are in luck. First we have Derrick Borte’s dramedy or “rom-comâ€, The Joneses starring the getting-younger-everyday Ms. Demi Moore and David Duchovny. It centers around a family not only living the American dream but they are also selling it to everyone around them. If you’re looking for a more obvious, laugh out loud, comedy then there is Neil LaBute’s film, Death at a Funeral. The film stars the always hilarious Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock and Tracy Morgan or you could just rent the original that the film ripped off.
