Pia Toscano Asks: Where Do Broken Hearts Go?
Tasked with singing a song that was released the year of her birth, Pia Toscano chose Whitney Houston's "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" last night.
Prior to taking the stage and wowing the judges yet again ("You are why this show is called American Idol," Steven said), we learned via montage that Pia has been covering classics since she was young.
A home video of her belting out "I Will Always Love You" at the age of three or four makes it clear: this young woman was born to sing a ballad on this stage. With a faster tempo than past singles, though, Toscano proves here that she has incredible range. Watch in awe:
