John Lackey to Divorce Wife Krista, Breast Cancer and All; Pitcher Enraged By Text
Apparently John Lackey's personal life sucks worse than his ERA.
The Boston Red Sox pitcher has filed to divorce his wife, Krista - who is in the middle of battling breast cancer - and became irate after receiving a text on the topic from TMZ just before last night's start against the New York Yankees.

Lackey was highly emotional after Boston's dramatic 7-4 win in 14 innings last night, but he was fired up about more than Jacoby Ellsbury's heroics.
The terrible hurler lashed out at the media because of a text he said he received from a member of the media about 30 minutes before the contest.
Asked by Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald the seemingly innocuous question, "How do you think you pitched," he veered off topic. Big time.
"Let me tell you the truth," Lackey said.
"Thirty minutes before the game I got a text message on my cell phone from one of you, somebody in the media, talking about personal stuff."
"I shouldn't even have to be standing up here dealing with it. I'm sitting here, listening to music. I don't know who got my number, but that's over the line."
There were indications Sunday night that a celebrity gossip website had sent him the offending text message, but it could not be confirmed which one.
Even after the interview broke up, Lackey continued to rage. "I can't believe … Any of you who would get into that is going to have a serious problem."
This morning, TMZ broke the story about his divorce from Krista Lackey, who just had a double mastectomy. Divorce papers were filed on June 30.
The two cited irreconcilable differences in personality for the split.
