Middle Men Trailer – Porn Takes Over The Internet
Paramount Vantage has just released the first trailer for their porn-centric film, Middle Men. If you’re thinking this is an updated version of Boogie Nights get your mind out of the gutter because its not. Instead, it centers on the rise of adult entertainment on the internet thanks to a few men who weren’t afraid to push the envelope. Take a look…
Middle Men takes place in 1995 when the internet was still in its infancy stage. At the time, it didn’t have much to offer in terms of content but two men named Wayne Beering (Giovanni Ribisi) and Buck Dolby (Gabriel Macht) changed all that. They came up with a way to get adult entertainment on the web and a business man named Jack Harris (Luke Wilson) helped them make money off it.
At the time they had no idea how big the internet would become or how much money they could earn. It’s a typical rags to riches story that shows the rise and the eventual fall of its protagonists. Besides the 3 main starts, the trailer has plenty of cameo appearances including Kevin Pollack and Kelsey Grammer who plays a corrupt senator with an affinity for workplace porn.
Middle Men was directed by George Gallo and is scheduled hit theaters on August 6, 2010
