I’ve never seen his movies either. Internet clips are enough for me to know he isn’t funny, seems lost without props and costumes.
He also comes across as a colossal jerk cough. Whoring himself for free publicity and acting like a victim.

Idk ya’ll… I heard Sasha’s pointless interview with Al Quintanilla and humorless blind tone deaf professional mmmm hmmer Ann Curry on the Today Show and it felt Icky, painful, unfunny and ive gotta wonder who vetoed this when daily this same show and network stays talking about current dictators real-life-not-for-funnies-Killing people in Arab countries to as Sasha put it “avoid democracy†this movie shoulda at least been pushed back, at best NOT get made, cause is kimd of a gross situation
Al didn’t know what to ask and Ann was trying her verklempt funny akward shit, it was painful, no one knew what to ask to the phoneline

I’m ambivalent about Sasha Cohenâ€"I don’t really like his characters, but I admire his commitment to his work. That said, this bit was really funny.

Oh Sacha! I have missed him so much! Bruno is a very underrated film.
I also liked Kate Beckinsale but the more than I read comments about her the more I am starting to see that she does look like a pageant princess. Not as bad as Beyonce but still annoying.
From cute girl to old tranny in less then five years. Megan effed up her face bad. ughh
I love all three ladies in white at the Essence awards. Viola’s shows are a no no.

I saw dictator-guy on the Today Show this morning. So. Not. Funny. Ann Curry and the guy subbing for Matt Lauer just laughed and laughed like the guy was hilarious. Don’t get it.

I can not wait to see SBC’s new movie it’s going to be a heap of ridiculousness and yeah it’s funny but mostly it’s biting satire. Good stuff, the guy is fearless, he’s going to get into trouble one of these days.

Since Bruno was a total flop, I guess Sacha is now just a guy whose jokes against foreigners (they’re dumb! they’re monsters!) would go over well at a Republican fundraiser.
Seriously, this kind of prejudice-based humor died a deserved death 20 years ago.

Borat is funny. I cringe at some scenes but overall it’s funny. Bruno, otoh, isn’t. It’s just offensive. The last part where respected musicians like Bono, Snoop, etc. sang with him “We Are the World†style felt forced.
ALi G. is his best character. Yes, that character was racist and crass but he asked intelligent questions.

I cannot stand Sacha Baron Cohen. Not even the tiniest littlest bit. Gimmicky and unoriginal. People slam Gaga for being gimmicky and unoriginal, but she is a freaking genius of creativity compared to this clown. And he cannot, cannot act in real movies or shows. He totally ruined the otherwise charming Hugo movie earlier this year.

The clip of Sacha Baron Cohen is on par with an SNL skit that airs AFTER “Weekend Update.†Translation: unoriginal and you can see the jokes coming a mile away.
