Samuel L. Jackson Confirmed for Thor, Captain America, Will Have Female Sidekick in The Avengers
Samuel L. Jackson appeared on âLate Night with Jimmy Fallonâ Wednesday night and he announced some big news. The actor, who plays S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury in Marvelâs Iron Man and Iron Man 2, confirmed his involvement in this yearâs Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. He also revealed that in The Avengers, heâll have a female sidekick. Watch Jackson reveal the big news belowâ¦
We wonder if he was supposed to keep his appearances in these two films under wraps? Or do they think that the audience already expect him to pop up in the movies at some point? He said that he has to do one day of work on both Thor and Captain America, which means its probably just a cameo. Weâll probably just see him ârecruitingâ the newest members of the team like he did Tony Stark at the end of Iron Man.
He also went on to confirm that The Avengers begins production in April, which is interesting considering it was previously announced to start this month. We wonder why it got pushed back?
Jackson also announced that heâll have a female sidekick in The Avengers, whoâll be with Fury at all times. Heâs auditioning actresses this week for the part. We wonder who the character will be? We havenât even heard about any rumored additions to The Avengers team. What a scoop!
Who do you think could play Furyâs sidekick in The Avengers?
