Sunday night, the top actors in Hollywood came out for the 17th Annual Screen Actor’s Guild Awards to honor their peers. Like most of the ceremonies that have taken place this season, the same people won the same awards in the same categories. Colin Firth as Best Actor for The King’s Speech, Natalie Portman as Best Female Actor for Black Swan, Christian Bale for Best Supporting Actor for The Fighter..., you get the point. As you can see, the Screen Actor’s Guild awarded the usual suspects last night. This is one of the last major precursor shows to take place before the Oscars and the contenders in the acting categories seem to be a lock. Bale, Portman, Firth, and Leo should get real comfortable because in a few weeks there’s a good chance they’ll be taking that fateful walk to the Oscar podium.
